World Women's Day

My name is Debby Forman, founder of CWIST. Woman, +50 years old, foreigner and resident in Brazil. I was born in an era of transition. My mother was one of the first to receive an MBA in California. Today, she is almost 80 years old. In her day, she was the only mother in my school class who worked. She was heavily criticized. 4-5 decades later, the woman who gets a good education but decides to devote herself to raising children is criticized.

Empowerment refers to the process of women entering the global economy in a way that allows them to have, on the one hand, financial independence and, on the other hand, to create operational tools that help them keep their families together. This dual dynamic begins to change the operational molds of companies, paving the way for women to insert themselves as protagonists in the future of the global economy.
