Mindful Frog

During last week's holiday, the founders of CWIST were unwittingly trapped within a professional setting.

Frogs on the table, to protect and ensure the safety of partners and customers, we have (knowingly) swallowed many frogs.

Seconds after we swallowed them, it "tilt"! Was it frogs or toads that we swallowed? Frogs have a thicker, drier skin, they are bigger. Frogs are more delicate. Frog's paw is even served on the fanciest tables in French cuisine.

Whether frog or toad, both have a very high nutritional value in protein. In this metaphor, protein is needed to build muscle. We often feel weak when we swallow frogs.

The important thing is to be aware of the fact and the act, and seek to build the necessary muscle to get around the situation.

Follow our 3 tips #EngolindoSapos #MindfulSapos

  1. When cornered and the best way out is to swallow the frog, have the antagonist in the scenario watch you open your mouth, put the frog in there until you swallow it. It's funny, because the antagonist will invariably feel like the winner.
  2. Since you swallowed the frog with your mouth open with an audience, share this in your stories for your audience's knowledge. The side effect of your act of Mindfulness will not be overlooked.
  3. To make sure it doesn't happen again, always have a stock of frogs ready. At the next meeting with your antagonist, start the conversation with the frogs on the table and a "Your turn!" sign. What is the bona fide result of having swallowed the frogs with an audience watching? The empowerment is yours! The awareness of "future non-permissibility" is yours.

And if your service is required again, the first negotiating condition is yours.

Mindful Business. It is simple, yet difficult.
