CWIST is the invented name of GAD Assessoria e Consultoria Ltda, business services company. Our website address is: https://www.cwist.com.br.

 

What data we collect and why

A - Comments posted on the site

When visitors leave comments on WordPress powered sites, the data shown on the comment form is collected in addition to the visitor's IP address and browser data to aid in anti-spam detection and protection.

An anonymized string of characters created from the captured email (also called a hash) may be sent to Gravatar* to verify that you use the service. The Gravatar privacy policy is available at: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment has been approved, your profile picture may be publicly visible next to your comment.

*Gravatar: is a globally recognized avatar membership service for registered email addresses for a variety of sites, including WordPress based sites. With Gravatar posts can be easily identified on any site that uses the feature, to the image that represents you and that you have registered with the system. Gravatar (https://en.gravatar.com/) is a web system and is developed and maintained by the company Automatic (https://automattic.com/). The company develops and maintains WordPress.com, Woocommerce, JetPack and is the main open source contributor to WordPress.org. Based on the email that is entered by the user to post a comment on the blog a unique hash is generated to check if the user already uses Gravatar, and if so, to display the image they have registered with the service. This is a standard on all WordPress sites.

B - Contact forms

When any form is filled out on our site, the personal data information filled out on it is sent by e-mail to specific addresses that manage the relationships through the forms according to the purpose of each one.

The data is also saved in our database for later analysis in order to better understand each partner and improve the relationship, more accurately directing interesting content and information to each audience or the retrieval of important information that has been communicated.

Data Sharing

We strongly value the privacy of each partner and visitor, we do not share any information collected on our site for any purpose whatsoever.

CWIST does not sell or rent your contact details to anyone, i.e. only our employees may eventually have access to the data you provide. We may occasionally use your name and email address to send you information regarding content that may interest you. If, at any time, you wish to be removed from our free content distribution list, you can request to be removed from the list either by sending us the email you received or by contacting us at acolhimento@cwist.com.br.

How long we keep the data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely. We do this so that we can automatically recognize and approve any subsequent comments instead of holding them back for moderation.

For users and partners who submit personal information through some form, already listed above, the information is stored in our database indefinitely as well.

Your Rights on Your Data

If you have submitted a form or left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we remove any personal data that we hold about you. This does not include data that we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.

How we protect data

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure that it is not lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.

All data that you send us over the Internet via our website forms will be transferred to us via SSL - an encrypted protocol - and stored in databases that cannot be accessed outside our firewall.

In other words, all and any data that you send us will be properly coded so that it cannot be deciphered and read by any malicious agents. Our firewall is a mechanism that prevents access to our servers by people who are not part of the staff of GAD Assessoria e Consultoria Ltda. and is active uninterruptedly.

Mailing Lists

Eventually we may acquire qualified e-mail lists through collection on public websites via Big Data collection companies according to criteria related to our business. Such lists are used for sending invitations and information of common interest such as special events and information updates.

All our e-mails contain a direct link for unsubscribing from new mailings and it is the recipient's option to unsubscribe. Once cancelled, the e-mail is definitively excluded from our database.
