The act of comparing
To compare is to look for the relationships of similarity or disparity that exist between them. To transform is to pass or pass from one state or condition to another.
When the similarities are no longer similar, it is because there has been a transformation.
It is common to hear that it is not healthy to compare, that each individual must be evaluated in a unique way.
Growth indices, lab results, academic assessments and team performance are formulated on the basis of comparison.
There is a difference between living on the basis of comparison than comparing yourself, identifying your unique differentiator.
Parameters can be healthy when space is given to appreciate individual differences.
When we compare the success of others to others, are we comparing baseline parameters or unique differentiators?
The base and the highlight have to go hand in hand.
